I've never read an early-season Spike/Buffy story (in the sense of them actually being in a relationship) that I find completely convincing. That doesn't mean I don't think it can be done, but I've never found a story where the writer's done it to my satisfaction. Which would entail no spells, curses, time travel, etc.; just pure raw character ( Read more... )

There are a lot of different ways to watch a show. There are a lot of different ways to like a character or ship a pairing. There are lots of ways that I don't personally get, or which I just wouldn't enjoy.
