I have been a Harmony Kendall fan since long before it was cool, and I have the icons to prove it, but I am much bemused by the current fad for portraying her as a flawless, innocent cinnamon roll, usually at Spike's expense. This is something that's come up in discussions with Shapinglight a number of times in the past: in regards to her relationship with Spike, I can see the Buffy of S7 developing into the Buffy of S8/9. Post-Chosen stories where Buffy is a suicidal wreck because Spike is dead puzzle me. I can believe she had feelings for him at the end. I can believe those feelings were love, in the moment of his death.
