TATTIE TOTS O' TERROR!

Mostly what you see posted here is my illustration work, stuff done in pen, pencil and such, but I also like to experiment around in photoshop, or with water colors, acrylics and even in oil. But drawing is my strongest asset. Yet, I am constantly trying to broaden my skills, such as this painting I've been working on-

It's not really turning out the way I want. It's sloppy and the details(tho you can't really see them in this photo taken with a cheap digital camera) are shakey and , well, I need much more practice. Maybe I'll fool around with it in photoshop and try to save it, but I really wanted to create an actual physical piece without resorting to computer trickery.
But I'm ready to move on to something else, and the brushes shall be dipped in paint once again.

This next piece-a drawing I did in ink-I want to paint digitally. Kinda creepy, and I think I want to play around with this scarecrow character a bit more, and he may just resurface on an actual canvas too.
I call him TATTIE BOGLE!

Keeping the freeky flag flying, I doodled this up in pen, and then tweeked it in photoshop while under the influence of the movie "Jennifer's Body", which wasn't all that great of a flick, but it had some interesting scenes. I call it "SPEW!"

In History of Animation class, I tend to doodle out stuff here n' there of subjects that are brought up in class. Last week, we got into some of the claymation stuff, hence I squeezed out of my pen my version of an old classic and did 'em my way. I present to you "SCUMBY & CHOKEY!"

And last week I finally got around to watching the rest of my BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY dvd boxset and got the hankerin' to draw up one of the characters, the infamous HAWK!
'member him?

I'm not very happy with the way it turned out. He looks a little disjointed or something, but what the heck. I'll post it anyway.

And finally I end this post with Robot Monster carrying away a frightened Bettie Page!

Spankin'!

chokey, ragart, bettie page, plazmo, scarecrow, scumby, buck rogers, pokey, robot monster, gumby
