Award Sites Announced and New Award Site Needing Noms!
Hi!
I know, long time, no see. *shrugs* There wasn’t anything I could do about that though. RL has a way of ripping you apart, slapping you down, keeping you from the things you love to do, and picking you back up again.
There have been some great award sites that have announced recently, absence_oflight, forbiddenawards, and ultimate_xander. I want to congratulate the owners and their teams on such successful rounds and some wonderful winning fic to boot, as well as all of the winners! Go check them out. Also there is a new award site starting their first round who needs nominations, kinda_gay_award. It’s all about the femmeslash in Btvs/Ats Fandom, baby. Go on over and support the women of our fandom today by nominating something wonderful!
I want to say thank you for the wonderful awards I was given by the judges at forbiddenawards for my Dr Who x-over, Defender of the Earth. They mean so very much to me. Everyone can see the beautiful banners under the cut.

In this fic Rose becomes a Slayer as per Buffy The Vampire Slayer. It's very good, well written and compelling while in character.
Fang Fetish Awards (fangfetish or http://www.athenewolfe.com/fangfetish/index.htm) has finally set the dates to announce this round. Steph and I have been plagued with extreme RL and unable to devote time to our beloved award site, as we normally do. We are sorry to all the nominees who have been waiting so patiently for us to get our act together.
We want to thank our team of mods, judges, and artists for being patient and caring with us, and giving so much of their time to help us.
We are splitting the announcement of awards up in hopes to help our team. Sunday, May 17th we will be announcing awards for the Spuffy and All Pairing Sections. Sunday, May 31st we will announce awards for the Rare Pairings Character Corner, Vampiric Non-Spuffy, and Judge’s Choice Sections.
