I haven't done this in a LONG TIME! A small, probably badly written, poem that just needed to come out.
So Tired

Running, racing,
Breathing, aching
Lost time, no time.
Painful in the making,
Want time, please time.
Heavy lids,
Fluttering with exhaustion.
Need time, must have time.
Begging, pleading,
Sleep time? Please time?
Woeful extremes ringing, pulsating.
Stressful anxiety roaring, raging.
Rest time? Need time.
Peaceful stillness?
Never time…
And simply because I think this is one of the best snippets of something I've ever written, but flocked the first time around, here's something from 2006.
Heart Aching

Heart aching, soul weeping
Bruising broken, stripped before you
Cracked and bloodied, slowly seeping
Slipping further, masked no more
Crimson anguish flowing freely
Shattered pieces on the floor
