so... tired... so... cold...!

my eyes burn, i woke up so early. sometime before 7. ergh. i biked to the east side last night, it was about 30 min, and i was pretty chilled through and through by the time i got there. stayed in that part of town overnight and headed home this morning, but it was even colder. it was -14 C, -24 with the windchill (i heard on the radio when i got home). yikes. i am a cold weather wimp so now i am recovering, walking around the house in two sweaters, leg warmers, long underwear etc etc even though its pretty warm inside. fuck winter. fuck.

oh speaking of bikes Jane got a bike trailer for christmas and i used it for the first time yesterday to do groceries. it is pretty much the best thing ever, you can take it right into the grocery store like a cart! it's really quick to reattach to the bike and it doesn't "inchworm" like other trailers i've used. i barely felt the load of the groceries though the weight of the trailer is about 25 lbs so you definitely go slower with it attached. heres the trailer. now we can't wait for summer so we can load it up with coolers and go to the island! (like we need an excuse to want summer. fuck winter.)

i met up with someone from the internet yesterday. she's vegan and lives in TO so we decided to meet up for some brunch. i don't usually do that, but its interesting to see what its like to meet someone completely random, someone you don't have any friends in common with. we also don't have much other stuff in common (other than the vegan thing, and being mid-20's and blonde) but we'll probably hang out at vegan events like the Vegan Chili Cookoff this coming Saturday!!! (if you live in TO come on down to Left Feet in Kensington market, at Nassau & Bellevue at 2 pm on sat jan 31. pay $5, eat vegan chili, vote for the best one!! dress warm)

Monday's seem to be my internet/computer day, i'm going to be doing more work on the business plan for the workers coop today. we will have a website soon too! have a good week y'all.
