burned out burned!
i went to Re:Leaf, the Om Reunion Project festival last weekend to celebrate solstice. when the sun finally came out sunday morning we went swimming and i fell asleep in the sun resulting in the absolute worst sunburn i've ever seen.
i biked 125 km home on monday with chris and alan. then tuesday realized how much pain i was in and called in sick to work. wed i went to the doctor where i found not only did i have first degree burns but the skin on my face had become infected so now i'm on antibiotics too.
yesterday was the best day of the burn probably. late last night i started to blister. today i am basically lying here all day because if i bump into anything i'll explode. oh well i'm getting lots of catching up on the internet done. i've created torrents and improved my ratio on what.cd. i've updated my budget spreadsheet. i'm backing up my flickr pics. i'm even updating lj and reading what y'all have been up to as well!
hoping hoping hoping and wishing that i will be good to go back to work tomorrow. i'll take a bath later, maybe while i'm missing critical mass. the city workers are on strike, there's no ferries to the island. also no garbage pickup, daycare, camp, etc etc. but i've barely seen the results of this as i've been in my house day in and day out.
i'm looking forward to next week starting summer over again, and wearing lots of sunscreen!! hoping for good weather and fun filled times all season looooong.
