i really don't care about obamaramadingdong
its 7:43 and at 8 pm i'm gonna watch Little Mosque on the Prairie. I haven't been able to catch it at all this season... Monday nights (as most weekday nights) are pretty busy mostly with obligations. but today is almost a non-day for me. all i've done is computer-y stuff (but i DID scratch something off my to-do list, something i didn't think i would ever get done is on its way to getting done). oh and i cleaned up the floor of my room and went down the street to by shallots for my recipe.
yes i made the eggplant potato moussaka (with pine nut cream) from the Veganomicon cookbook. its in the oven now in its final stage of cooking. it says its even better the next day so i'm stoked to eat most of it tomorrow. Jane and i have been cooking tons lately... we made mushroom pate for a snack, and last night ate roasted veggies with a yummy lemony tahini dressing, and i made spicy dahl too. i got a food processor for christmas so now we can cook basically anything from any of our cookbooks pretty easily.
went to a birthday party on saturday, brought my camera. i'll post some photos maybe later tonight, if any turned out. this friday we're having a birthday party for my friend Chris (girl) here at our house, i will definitely have to get photos of that as we're going all out. dj's, decorations, appetizers, lalala.
i will probably watch Barack Obama's inauguration tomorrow morning even though i don't think it really makes as big a difference as people say. anyone is better than Bush. oh ya does anyone want to join my workers coop? we need more founding members!
