So I spent the day volunteering at the Canadian Motorsports Expo today. This was the reult of some time well spent in th right place...

We lost a friend yesterday. I wouldn't say a close, but a friend none the less. I only knew him a few years through our racing club, but The Husband has probably known him his entire racing career. Since they were go-karting, so likely 30 years.

Yup! I"m still on vacation! God it's nice.

We finally got some racing in on Sunday night at Sauble Speedway. It was so cold that night. I was wearing my winter jacket. My feet were so cold my toes hurt. Gotta get my butt in gear and get a few things done around the house. The sun is shinning. This is a good sign, hopefully there'll be racing tonight.

Races called again tonight. *sigh* Let's cross our fingers for tomorrow. Of course, they ARE calling for snow tomorrow morning...

Sauble weather

Looks like we're on tonight, which is good. It's time to get the first race of the season under our belts. The weather looks iffy at the moment but the weather network tells us it should clear up in time for this evening. We're at Sauble Speedway tonight. I just hope it's not TOO cold.
