Quick summer update
So things are going well this summer. Research is good...although I feel like I've got 2 1/2 weeks to get 2 months worth of stuff done. I'm excited to continue working on the project throughout my senior year and to present at ASM in Boston next spring. I also really love working with Dr. TR. All in all it's been a blast!
I'm camping right now with Bob and his family and their friends. This will be my 5th summer going. I love it! I had a freak-out last night because there was a daddy long-legs spider in our tent...what a dork! I'm really looking forward to having the 4th off and just sleeping in late and lounging about. Should make for some good fishing and perhaps a very inebriated time!
Best story ever....
So, I was shopping for clothes last night in Lane Bryant at the Polaris mall. It's about 9 and the store is closing and I go to check out when all the power in the store goes out! Turns out all the power in the mall and most of it all along Polaris blvd. went out. SAD! So my stuff is all on hold for pick-up today (hopefully with a discount).
Tonight should be fun. Dinner with Bob, Dad, his girlfriend Dana, Steve, and maybe his friend and then red white and boom. Then back to the campgrounds for hopefully a good game of shanghai and perhaps some drunkenness and smores (what a good combo)!
