firsts
i was on skype this morning talking to my mum and my niece. charlotte was showing me her wobbly front tooth and it suddenly came out!! i saw my niece lose her first tooth LIVE on skype! lol. she was totally freaked out poor thing, mum and i weren't sure whether the tears were due to the blood or the fact that she dropped the tooth and couldn't see it. mum found it for her...it is as small as a tic-tac! she was then very excited at the thought of the tooth fairy. what is the going rate for a baby tooth these days? i remember getting 10p!
went to see the tim burton exhibit (another good date idea from the guy who took me roller skating on monday!), i enjoyed it, but i can't help feeling that his work is very derivative of edward gorey and charles adams (both of whom i like so...). it was a fun afternoon, then i came home and baked mini rhubarb pies and mini apples pies (bite sized!) to take into work tomorrow. oh and my juice diet finished tonight. i think i am gonna stay off the dairy for the most part though, it seems to work for me, apparently cheese should be a treat, not a staple!
in other news i signed up for a twitter account about 3 years ago, in order to ensure that a local record store was carrying something i wanted to buy...i have never used it since. i have FIVE followers...they just sent me an email. how is this possible? i never told anyone i had an account. so my question is; should i start using it? and how on earth do i do that. i mean i never use my cell phone for that kind of thing, so i'd only be tweeting from home...or work i guess. i dunno, seems like a waste of time really!
