Is it Shark Week yet?
Logging onto Yahoo, I noticed one of those fluffy articles that try to pass as important or news. This one was on "America's Most Shark-Infested Beaches".
Dah-dump. Dah-dump. Dah-dum dum dump, Dah-dum dum dump..........
Since I moved here 20 years ago, Michiganders have tried to brag to this New Englander that Michigan has more coastline than any other state, and more lighthouses.
So I thought maybe I ought to check out if we even made that infested list, right?
Imagine my surprise when I found that Michigan wasn't even near the bottom of the list ! Wow, all that coastline and no sharks? How can this be?
(BTW, an internet search also revealed Michiganders lied. Alaska has the most coastline, and Oklahoma has the most shoreline. Oklahoma? Michigan only counts for most freshwater shoreline.)
