Peter jerked his hand out of the palmist's as politely as possible. His patience was a little frayed. "Madame Zeklos" hadn't been very helpful.
Neal followed him out of the stuffy little shop, chuckling. "Cheer up, Peter...this line of inquiry is dead, but you're going to the Caribbean."
Peter snorted.
"I don't believe in psychics."
They said it together in perfect synchronization, while Neal grinned impudently. "Jinx! You owe me a soda."
Peter turned to tell Neal exactly what he could do with his soda...
...and fell down the last three stairs.
