All she'd done was suggest that Mozzie read to Theo. Fifteen minutes later, Diana sat listening with her mouth open.
"So, when incentivizing the consumption of these foods with the lure of societal enfranchisement (the house and car) doesn't work, Uncle Sam-I-Am harries our tragic hero until he's in the dark, in a box, with threats of being shipped off on a train if he won't eat the tainted foods. Broken, desperate, he gives in and promptly falls victim to the mind-controlling substances."
Mozzie shook his head sadly.
"What a terrible seed to plant in the young and fertile mind."
