j, salsa, book group, sunday lunch, ebay
I don't know what the f*** is going on in my head currently about j. Just so you know. Not that you'd wanna cos it's dull. Found myself in another knot of super supression which I'm trying to avoid now, even tho it may leave nothing in its place. And there's a bit of my brain that is fascinated by the concept wheeled out today, that's he's very freaked out by that saturday a few weeks back and doesn't want to upset me. I don't necessarily see this as any kind of romantic sign. It's just... some stuff he vaguely said to me today, seemed to imply something like that.
In missing news that I forgot to mention, saturday night saw me, planecrasher, and his girlfriend (who still eludes a nickname) going off to.. erm not sure where... woodley? for a salsa night with chez rotaract. It was very funny. All of us were beginners and we attempted very poorly to do the merengue and the salsa proper. The funniest part of this was it suddenly became clear that only very short women and very tall men join rotaract as several dance moves became very contorted by such contrasting height partners. It was a good laugh. And we met up with another more distant club whose members are particularly friendly and notorious for continually partnerswapping between each other.
I'm not sure how it came up but one of them invited us to do a group sunday lunch the next day, so we did. Which was very pleasant and very very filling. Gotta love that!
Ebay news? well apart from me putting day three on day 2... (it's now day 4) am still waiting to recieve any kind of delivery but as I had to send two cheques by post I'm not all that surprised. I might email and check they got them tho. I'm currently being tempted by an earlier snowpatrol album even tho I have no idea what it will sound like. And I think I'm gonna just give in and buy that ambershades single off hmv. It's not in the shops unsurprisingly. Have found tshirts of the 'tones online but they're not the ones I liked best post gig (which were hooded thingys). What else? I'm trying hard not to want to buy an 'are you blue or are you blind' cd single for a rather higher price than I really consider acceptable.
