I participated in the UBC Rovers (Boy Scouts) Amazing Race dry run yesterday. My partner Brittney Joel and I started downtown Vancouver looking for a building it took us 25 minutes to find it. We asked this guy at some coffee shop and he directed us in the wrong direction. It was ten minutes away from our starting point the Vancouver Art Gallery. ( Read more... )

Last night I met up with Beth, Sid, and Sarah for Beth's welcome back dinner. She got me a Sailor Mars doll, its going to join my other Sailor Mars doll. Stephanie joined us during dinner. I went to the night market for the first time this summer and I am already broke! I bought two pretty necklaces, both them are cresent moons with coloured stars along the edge. Katina came over on Friday to celebrate my belated bday. We stayed at my house watching anime, played the CSI board game that I got from my brother and drank vodka (courtsey of my parents). I went to see Star Wars Episode III with Sabrina this afternoon at the New West Theatre. George Lucas knows how to write a fight scene that is for sure, dialog on the other hand was not as impressive. It was not as crowded as I expected it to be and no one dressed up either. Sat around and played on the computer today till about 3 which is when I got ready for beth birthday/goodbye party. Meet my parents at the mall, paid them for my bus pass, hunted around for a birthday card, finally found a pretty fairy one then head over to beth's house. There was chocolate outside my bedroom door this morning, yum! I kicked it by accident.
I received a picture of a giraffe this morning. My friend Chloe went to Africa and the darling person she is gave me a picture of cheetah and a giraffe. I wish that had a giraffe. To bad that she couldn't find a panther :(

Last night Beth, Sarah and I went to Sin City. Our numbers have dwindle down to three. Sarah and I danced the whole time, ow my feet hurt. We left around quarter to 12 because Beth had to meet her boyfriend Sid at Metrotown. Sarah and I got off to meet Sid and catch the 106 and the worst that could happen did!
