she's home!!
So, my mother had knee replacement surgery on Tuesday of last week... I have spent waaaaaay too much time at the hospital this last week so when she was discharged yesterday, we were both happy.
She needs someone with her 24/7 for the next couple weeks... so, I'm sleeping on her couch. Why? B/c if I sleep in a bed, I sleep too deeply and can't hear her call for me. One of my SILs will be here Thursday-Saturday so I can attend a workshop that I've been wanting to go to for almost a year now. Another will be here next week when I have to go out of town for a different conference.
Now to get the logistics worked out... *yawn* but first a shower... Tonight the fan gets turned toward me.
