I am trying to do a thing and post every day! We'll see how that goes!

So the follow-up to the 7th grade boy who let slip he watches Teen Wolf is thus:

Me: So who's your favorite character?

Him: Ummm….ummmm….well, I guess Scott!

Me: Scott is really awesome.

Him: Actually, Allison. Yeah, Allison, she’s the BEST.

I JUST.

I assumed it was going to be Stiles! Isn't everyone's favorite Stiles, at least at first? BUT LO, this guy likes Scott and thinks Allison is cool--seriously, he never even brought up Stiles. Instead he playfully quizzed me on a whole lot of TW trivia (didn't get the impression that he was trying to make sure I was a "real fan" or anything like that, he just loved KNOWING STUFF) and kept talking about how Scott was the True Alpha because of his will to change himself and omfg guys I kind of want Teen Wolf to be mandatory watching for all middle schoolers if it actually teaches them that they're in control of who they want to be, asljfdsfdkj.

He honestly doesn't see the plot holes. Thinks it's unreservedly awesome. I think it must be so much fun to be this kid, watching this show and just enjoying the hell out of it. I am equal parts jealous and amused.

OTHER THINGS THAT HAPPENED TODAY!
  • Some kid stuck a staple through a callus ON HIS HAND and tried to high-five me. Then seemed confused when I chewed him the fuck out.
  • I let a boy put tape over his mouth to keep him quiet/working. Don't judge me, it worked.
  • a girl told me out of the blue, "I never have anything to say when someone asks me if I've done something really horrible." I asked her, "...Do many...people ask you that?" She said, "No, but I'd like to be prepared."

teen wolf, do i really need a real life tag?, jobbing
