Hola!
Hello - this be my first journal entry from my new laptop - the first of many.
Got the laptop on Wednesday and I am well chuffed with it. I've started loading all the essential programs on it but pretty much just using it to do homework and stuff at the moment. Over the next few weeks I'll transfer all my stuff from the PC to this and clean up some of the files on the PC. Still have to sort out this and that in terms of files and folders on here but so far so good. I'm pretty pleased with it.
Just tryna get used to the laptop keyboard. I don't really like laptop keyboards, but I know the more I use it the more I'll get used to it. Also doesn't really help at the moment that I have long nails as they kinda slip on the keys. I am definately not a fan of the touch pad and will be investing in a mouse for it soon. Also gotta get a bag too - I'll get that tomoz at work.
I can't believe its November - about 8 weeks or a bit less till xmas, 2 weeks left of school and only about 4 months till I go OS hehehe. And its SUMMER!!! I've spent the last 4 days in a skirt and I am loving it. Also got my hair cut last night so along with skirt wearing and new earrings and a necklace I am feeling very girly indeed.
I caught up with Colin online this morning - was good to chat to him. Element are still on hiatus, but they've been writing and happy with being a 3 piece. He promises they are still together but will start back gigging and recording when they feel ready. I told him they better be gigging by the time I get over there seeings I am their number one Aussie fan hehe.
Tonight, I am meeting up with Nicole for drinks before heading to the Rainbow to see Lukey and The Deserters. Ahhhh those boys. Gotta love them. And a wee side note for Graham and Beth - Luke is the one and only original guitar/bass playing musician boy with hair - he is where it all started. Here's a pic. Now if only I could get rid of his girlfriend hehe.....
