Guys, guys, I finally have an advisor, and it was my first choice! Yay!

Sadly, the friend that also chose that group got bounced to his second choice, so my good news is bittersweet AND I feel super bad about it. Why can't everyone have nice things?

I have officially survived my first TAing session. One more to go this week. Luckily,  1) No one burst into flames 2) I didn't barf all over the students or swear at them 3) Things went pretty well.
