El_Ergo totally just made fun of me for not posting recently, so here I am.
Not too much news to report. A few more rejections again, including Harvard, Toronto, American, Georgetown (sorry, Ogre; no Hoyas for me), and surely a couple of others. An amusing trend developed, as I realized today that with only public schools left on the horizon, Mandy and I were both rejected from every private school on our list. Is there something about Midwesterners that just tells private schools to look the other way? Surely it has nothing to do with those schools often being super-competitive (but so is Mandy, so this theory clearly does not hold up).
No new acceptances, though I did receive encouraging? news from one school, in the form of a semi-schizophrenic message including both "[we] could admit you now - with enthusiasm" and "not everyone who reaches this round is admitted." Unless they were just trying to see if I was still interested (which I assured them I was), I have no idea why they would say something so hilariously nice-and-mean to me.
I really did not think I would get this close to the end of March before I knew what was happening. And now it looks like we may well make it to the beginning of April before we know for sure, particularly since two of my acceptances have not gotten back to Mandy and two of her acceptances have not gotten back to me.
THE OBVIOUS SOLUTION: A "DREAM TICKET" FEATURING MANDY AND ME AS CO-PRESIDENT
