Oh mine Papa, to me he was so wonderful!

I wrote this last Sunday. Yeah, I know, its almost next Sunday. And?

So I was walking home from picking up my laundry (don't judge now, its much easier for me right now). A few doors down from my place I see a father a son. The son was either running or on those skate shoe things. So the pavement turned into uneven bricks (those that are death to stiletto wearers everywhere). The kid tripped. The father was angry, but not that he might have been hurt. He chided him for being stupid. He was very stern with him, using coarse language. When the child began to tear up, he blistered. He put his things down and motioned to take of his belt. I was right next to them now and debated whether or not to say something. I mean, if he took of on him, it would have been abuse. Then again is it my job to interfere? And what about my safety? He ended up not doing it. Lessons learned: fear over respect, deal with anything disagreeable with violence, under no circumstances are you allowed to show emotion. Quite a cocktail for social misconduct the father is brewing. And we all get to drink up when the time comes.
