Today I completed my dissertation analysis phase. Mind you, this beast is no where near complete-- I still have to write Chs. 4 and 5, but the good news is that the extra time I spent on the descriptive analysis gives me 56 pages of unedited text to copy and past right in. Cory and I went to our Pre-Cana session yesterday. We had been warned by a few folks that the day would range from unproductive to full-fledged, fire-and-brimstone condemnation, and I am pleased to report that our experience was very positive. The past week has been a whirlwind. The trip to California was amazing for all kinds of reasons. I have listed some of the highlights ( in chronological order )

I woke up feeling a bit anxious about all that I had to get done to prepare for my trip, but today has worked out to be a really good day. I just finished my Powerpoint for NARST. I *think* I'm now officially all set for my conference prep (excluding the thousand times I will compulsively practice my presentation next week, of course.) • I spoke with Audrey this morning and she gave me the go ahead to submit my NARST paper-- I'm so glad to have it off!
