a quick post
Good news! I just heard from the chair of my Portfolio (a.k.a. Qualifying Exam) committee, and I passed with flying colors! I'm officially a doctoral candidate!
Also, the conference presentation on Saturday went really well. Too bad the same couldn't be said for the "healthified" vegetable tempura recipe Cory and I tried out yesterday. But, I have an idea for a modified version of Ten Toji that might just rescue those poor little veggie sticks dredged in cornstarch, so hopefully that will pan out. If not, at least I have started composting... ;)
