When Tatsuya hears the knock, his heart did a flip and his nerves tickles his entire inside.
There's ten minutes left on the clock and with that deep breath he pulls in, relief frees yet excites him.
The knock comes again and Tatsuya rushes across his empty living room stopping only when he reaches the door and puts a hand on the handle. "Who's there?" He asks, knowing full well that only one bold figure would dare hit him up that late at night.
The person only knocks again and Tatsuya only smiles, taking in another deep breath, pulling the door open, "You're being annoying", he says, unable to hide the glee in his voice.
Junno leans in, bends down and brushes a kiss against his cheek, "Happy Birthday".
Tatsuya, is a flush of rose, not sure if and how to reciprocate, "You're late", he what he says.
Junno is all smiles looking at him, eyes warm and lips moist and Tatsuya can feel the affection emanating and reaching him.
With one hand, Junno holds him close and smiles against his lips and says, "I was making sure you saved the best for last".
Tatsuya couldn't help but laugh and he just as much he couldn't help but embrace Junno back... right there in the genkan, glad that he can can finally hug the greatest birthday present of all but that, he won't tell Junno. "So where's my present?" He instead asks.
Junno laughs and holds him tighter, "You're holding it".
Tatsuya makes a scoffing sound, but his hands around Junno belay a different affection, they hug him and they loved him and just two minutes before the clock strikes twelve, in a hurry Junno takes the cupcake from the paper box he had in his free hand and the candle from a paper bag and on the count of three, Tatsuya makes a wish and blows~
"What did you wish for?" Junno asks, dipping a finger in the cupcake frosting and wiping it across Tatsuya's lips.
Tatsuya licks and swallows, "None of your business", mumbling while sucking at Junno's fingers... Tatsuya hates sweets but he won't tell Junno that he hopes next year, will be just like this... him saving the best for last.

A/N: ... yes, I know. I can't believe is my first fic for 2019. It makes me feel sad but happy that I could pen something for Tatsuya's birthday... never mind it's this short. *tears* I've been out of practice but I truly hope I can still give JunDa justice.
