--I'm finally back home!  Sadly, the past 48 hours haven't been all that great; I've been extremely tired and bleary-eyed, and as much as I love my family, I hate having to be in the same house with them.  :P  We did go to that awesome Chinese restaurant last night, though, so that was good.

The start of J-term has been going pretty well so far!  It's still really hard to get myself moving when I absolutely need to -- getting up earlier (though I have been doing this to a certain extent), taking care of myself, taking shorter showers, reading faster, etc.  But I have made a decent start, and change tends to come slowly anyway.  I'll ( Read more... )

One project and one exam down, one paper and two more exams to go. :/ My Japanese exam was today (ironic given that today is the 68th anniversary of Pearl Harbor, and that I bought the first volume of Barefoot Gen in the college bookstore -- what, it was on sale! It turns out the reason why my computer is making those noises all the time is because -- as I suspected ALL ALONG -- the fan is busted. The guy at the Apple Store offered to repair it -- which would take a week, because apparently they're just that tied up with work orders.
