I had to go into Portland this afternoon, and it was...surprisingly painless. Even the trip back on I-5 wasn't as terrible as it usually is. It probably helped that I had a game plan; I called and had Whole Foods put my slice of vegan chocolate mousse cake back for me so it was ready when I came in, so I breezed right through.
