What a perfect start. I usually don't prefer reading in first-person perspective but your fic is so wonderful to read.

“I don’t…you look wonderful. You’ve grown out your hair. The curls are nice.” The curls are nice? What am I even saying? I want to crawl under the nearest table and disappear.

“I’ll sleep well tonight knowing that you approve of my looks,” he answers, drolly.

I was rolling on the floor, laughing. But poor Luke...Reid kept being so cold to him. I wonder what he did in the past that Reid's so afraid to show his feelings.

I recognize him immediately. Even though it’s been months…years now, since I’ve seen him, I’ll never forget that body. As he turns to walk into the sitting area, near the fireplace, I see his face. Reid and his "I'm gonna hurt you before you have a chance to hurt me" defense mechanisms. Grrrr. I'd hate him, IF I didn't love him so much. Lol.

Great first chapter....the second I read that Noah had agreed to speak at the conference, I had the feeling he was going to shill for some film he wanted to make...I love how they are both in denial. And I'm so happy that Luke is completely over Noah (although the Douche doesn't seem to realize that). Can't wait for more interaction and the addition of Noah to the mix!
