“I don’t…you look wonderful. You’ve grown out your hair. The curls are nice.” The curls are nice? What am I even saying? I want to crawl under the nearest table and disappear.
“I’ll sleep well tonight knowing that you approve of my looks,” he answers, drolly.
I was rolling on the floor, laughing. But poor Luke...Reid kept being so cold to him. I wonder what he did in the past that Reid's so afraid to show his feelings.
I recognize him immediately. Even though it’s been months…years now, since I’ve seen him, I’ll never forget that body. As he turns to walk into the sitting area, near the fireplace, I see his face. It is fixed in my memory and I feel my heart skip a beat. He radiates beauty. His hair is a longer and blonder and he looks healthy and fit. He is without a doubt, the handsomest man I've ever known.
I got goose bumps all over my skin reading this. You couldn't have described Reid's thoughts on seeing Luke more beautifully.
I'm very curious how the story goes on and will be off to read the second chapter now. :)
