Why I Recommend This Fic:
Reading the season 1 finale commentaries on qaf_rewind last night had me thinking of this story and how much I'd loved it all those years ago. This is Michael's pov about the night of the prom, and its done oh so well that you can't help but feel this is how it must've gone. The author paints a very gritty, very tenable picture of what Michael must've seen and heard. Who really was that on the other end of that phone call which Michael received when he was about to board the plane? Well, we all have had our suspicions but here we find out for real. At least, this is what I'd like to believe. Go read.
