Doctor Who and deja vu...
Just finished watching Doctor Who 7x03 - A Town Called Mercy.
Loved it. Far better than last week's Dinosaurs escapade. There's something bubbling underneath the surface here involving the Ponds (and it's probably timey-wimey) so, so much for no major plot arcs!!
But, the core background story did strike me as slightly familiar XD
[This will only make sense to fans of both Doctor Who and GACKT!]
So, Jex was a doctor who had been involved in a war. He'd taken people, against their will, experimented on them and made them into lethal cyborgs who decimated the enemy.
These cyborgs later rebelled, and began to hunt down their makers.
Did he call two of them Proto and Zero?? Man... GACKT created Nazi Germany had better technology than this alien race had though because Proto and Zero both looked like pretty Japanese guys and not half cyborg.
C'mon DEARS... this is where your mind went too, right?
Next week looks like a nice change of pace and setting!
