2008/9 - GACKT dusts off the Nazi uniform and reuses a lot of the Rebirth/RRI imagery.
Fandom - "awesome! He's continuing the Rebirth theme!"
2012 - GACKT dusts off the Setsugekka chair and font, and makes a similar CD cover.
Fandom - "he's copying!! He's ran out of ideas!"
What's the difference? How about, I don't know, waiting until actually hearing the song, seeing the PV and hearing his explanation of why and how the songs are linked?
He's always re-used themes, images and even costumes (hello black leather Kagen no Tsuki and Jougen no Tsuki outfit!) so why is this news now? Why is it a problem now?
It's the connections, concepts and ongoing storylines that makes his music and lives that little bit different than his peers.
If it is a straight copy and rip off then sure, tear him to shreds for it. But at least WAIT to find that out first! I don't think two LQ minutes of a song and a CD cover is enough to judge right now.
