Back again

I rushed through page 8 to try and get it done before we left. No dice. While we were away I had time to touch it up properly. And miracle of miracles - I was allowed to upload it while we were there, so that there wouldn't be a giant gap inbetween my submissions. It took me 12 minutes to get it submitted. They have 33K dial-up.

Page 9 done while I was away, almost entirely in front of films with Renée Zelwiggythingy in them.

I went with my grandmother to see an Alan Ayckbourne play in Bath called Bedroom Farce. It's basically like everything else Ayckbourne writes, and just as dull. They had a nice set though. I hate plays about meaningless conflict, especially ones that drag on and force the characters to stay up all night, because then *I* start feeling tired and violated.

Just cuz I felt like taking them.

On the first full day we were there I read Northern Lights again in one sitting - 4 hours. Not the brightest idea. I finally realised what people are talking about when they say the book rails against religion - I couldn't see it before (then again the last time I read it, I think I was still a Christian) - but now it's all clear by the way the witches and daemons are on the good side, and the protagonists are in favour of Dust, which is priginal sin, and he's saying that original sin is actually a good thing which, if you think about it, is the most blasphemous stuff you could say.

And I played through the whooooole Neverhood in one sitting too, the next day. It only took 2 hours.

I'm starting to get so nervous about the exams coming. So very nervous.

neverhood, divine image, reading
