Well, this is different at least

As per usual, Friday was heartbreakingly warm and lovely for the drive to North Carolina for NCRF. As per usual, Friday night was warm and lovely, too. I spent most of the evening (and part of the night) hanging out at the campground with sweetpea86, hthottie, kurakai, macdobhran, cellymcfae, danicia, cheezerweav, ladyprivvy, ladylyonesse and America's Sweethearts.

There were "garlic knots" (fresh-baked rolls with fresh garlic and olive oil), courtesy of ladyprivvy. OMG YUM. There was steak&rice&beans, courtesy of cheezerweav. There was booze, courtesy of just about everyone. There were iPods and there was singing, and ladylyonesse and I discovered that we share an unholy love for Hall & Oates and the Doobie Brothers.

As has NOT been the norm, it did NOT rain last night. Today dawned with an actual SUNRISE and skies that still had some blue visible. It's NOT damp. And it's NOT chilly. So I'm celebrating with a cuppa at Cup A Joe's.

Yeah, the inevitable clouds are drifting in, but I SEE SUNSHINE. That counts for something.

I'm torn. Do I check the online weather reports, or do I go on in blissful ignorance? I'm leaning toward blissful ignorance, myself.
