I've been growing my moustache for 10 or 11 days now, and it's gotten to the point where it's looking like maybe I missed a spot shaving on purpose for many days. Actually it's starting to feel sort of hairy up there. The weather is finally cooling down, so I've had the opportunity to return to the wearing of felt hats, which I must say I prefer to panama. Felt has such a warm, nice feel to it. A while back I lost my hat at a local pizzaria, and then later my friends opened a bar. Well, one of the cooks they hired to work at Elements is the same friendly guy who recovered my hat at the pizza place. Good news! I got my hat back. I hope all of this losing-of-stuff doesn’t bode ill for my trip to Guthrie!

Yesterday afternoon I picked up my dry cleaning before meeting _soozie_ for a beer at the Gypsy. Because of the timing, it wasn’t until late at night when I finally got the dry cleaning home and realized that my favorite sports coat had lost a sleeve button.
