Watching through classic Trek! A little while ago, Chrislynx and I watched The Conscience of the King, a first season ep that felt strongly like someone's re-written radio script for an episode of The Whistler set on an ocean liner in 1947. This is a ten minute clip from a Soviet SF movie. It looks quite well done. In this clip, astronauts discover a derelict spaceship and venture aboard, while their friends watch their progress via shaky helmet cameras. Breaking into the ship, they find not aliens, but capitalists. It's actually quite atmospheric and creepy.

momentrabbit has been periodically supplying me with ENTIRELY LEGITIMATE copies of the new Doctor Who serial. I kept intending to watch these, but never did. However, velvetpage and I have decided we shall start watching the show together again, and work our way through them.
