The most important thing to note is that I have had severe insomnia for nearly two months now. I literally cannot fall asleep without first drugging myself with Benadryl. I had a decent time at Portals this weekend, save for two things: 1)there wasn't a lot of fighting and 2)it was sort of horrifyingly cold. Since my character is mainly a fighter, I spent a lot of time just sitting around in the tavern, which, I'm afraid to say, is kind of boring. Nigel's Portals costume is getting close to being finished. The body of it is put together, as are the sleeves, though those aren't attached yet. I won't have time to put them on before the FoD plot meeting tonight, but I can at least put them on Nigel to make sure they're the correct length, since they have big, fold-back cuffs. I'm not having a particularly great day today, so I figured I'd go check the mail for a pick-me-up, since I was expecting a couple of packages. I was hoping my new plugs might have magically arrived, but no such luck. What did arrive, however was pretty darn cool; a new corset for my Portals character, Saoirse.

Just went ahead and picked up the first level of Sword for Saoirse in Portals. Expensive, yeah, but most likely necessary, and now I can call Power Strikes with Siggy (that's the sword) without having to blow Feats of Strength. There were a lot of short videos taken at the last Portals event and I was dead center in about half of them. Some of them were roleplay oriented, while others were fighting. After watching them, I've come to several conclusions:

1)Holy crap, I'm short!
2)And squeaky. Do I really sound that squeaky?
