loving and living...within a domestic sphere
i picked the kid up a half hour ago
and the poor thing
has a fever, sore throat, and headache
his cheeks are rosy red
and he says 'mama, it all hurts'
he's cuddled up on the couch now
with 'strawberries' and comfy clothes
plenty of tylenol to ease the pain
and kisses from me every time i walk past
i'm sad i have to work 12 hours
both sat. and sun.
the loving up of the sick child
is all holly's responsibility
so, the perinatologist
gave us the go ahead
the a-okay to go and get knocked up
she's doing more research
and ordered some clotting tests
thus far, all tests have come back
negative (that's a good thing)
here we go
i want to be pregnant now
but we've got ourselves
on a timeline
i'm getting antsy
we've only been talking about this for two years
