Isn't in plain that some things unname you?

For those of you who don't know, Utah Senator Chris Buttars (R) is an asshat. He came out with anti-gay statements last week, liking homosexuals to Muslim radicals and saying gays are "the greatest internal threat to America."
Clearly. Because, you know, I strictly follow the non-existent "gay agenda," which tells me to turn all the children gay and take over America. We are trying to ruin the foundation of this great country, one "sexual perversion" at a time.
People like Senator Buttars make me ashamed to live in Utah. A story like this will likely be heard by many Americans, who will then liken all Utahns to religious bigots. Sad.
Anyway, a columnist named Robert Kirby wrote a great editorial in the Salt Lake Tribune today. As a side note: Kirby is a member of the LDS church, like Buttars. It gives me hope that not all Mormons are intolerant. (Eek, sorry to say.)

There will be a protest/equality party called "Buttars-palooza" on Saturday. It will be held on the south lawn of the Utah Capitol building from 1:00 - 3:00. I, of course, will be there, big rainbow flag in hand!
