Ok, so I got 7 (out of 12) correct on my predictions. Not too bad I guess. Emily nearly swept the board with hers, the brat. Haha. I was glad to be wrong about two: Sean Penn winning best actor and Penelope Cruz winning supporting actress. Penn did SO well in Milk, and I was very pleased with the LGBT equality plug in his acceptance speech. "I think that it is a good time for those who voted for the ban against gay marriage to sit and reflect and anticipate their great shame and the shame in their grandchildren's eyes if they continue that way of support," he said. "We've got to have equal rights for everyone." You can view his whole speech here.
