This list of Movie-to-TV adaptations makes me of the happy. Particularly the show they give number 1. IGN as a whole might have an alarming tendency towards misogyny, but putting my One True Fandom at number 1 (over M*A*S*H!) may make me have a tiny bit of love towards them.
