Even on a totally free weekend afternoon, Caroline was still going strong with projects that weren't yet due. In her opinion, there was no reason her GPA should suffer just because vampire stuff tended to happen late in the evenings and stop her from getting last minute homework accomplished. She found it was best to be prepared and not caught off guard. This was her senior year, after all. Not that she was seriously thinking about college, but it would at least be nice to pretend that's where she ran off to after graduation.

Glittery glue and poster board were strewn across the coffee table as she listened to a sappy romcom while she worked. Hopefully Alaric appreciated Caroline's pretty take on the Revolutionary War.
