vacation starts in 4 1/2 hours. flying tomorrow to see Elk and Otter and Llama and others. Then more flying later in the week for Dr. Turtle's conference and more playtime for me. it's a lightly planned expedition, and i'm bringing books and knitting.

be back around the 20th. have good weeks, y'all.

have returned (last night) from the humid and sweaty (and while i was there, rainy) wilds of new orleans. was good trip. am v. v. tired. will be catching up shortly, but if i missed anything big, drop me a note.

v. glad to be home. and i ate alligator.
