My take on what was said:
john you're weird because you dont reject depression, you welcome it, understand it, manipulate it, transform it, and laugh with it....that's not normal john.
you're leading a very very normal life filled with a job, and a house to live in....even you're friends are routine, and in some cases you are extremely normal or average.
but you get joy out of being weird, and that's why you welcome it...that's why you're always depressed, and that's why you wont rest until you've beaten it...
