It's bugging me she put me through the neurological paces - and in thinking about it, I'd bet it's because when she asked me about the last time, I told her how things went, and then how they found the tumor - and how it tweaked me out when I started to feel this again, because in my head they're related, even though I know they're not. Wise up. Expressing your fears and frustrations about things related to your past brain tumor and potential for future recurrence is an annoyance and stupid. Shut up already. Sheesh. If it happens again it'll be fixed again. What's the big deal dude. Enough.

Phyllis was my therapist for many years. This morning I had a melt down and wanted nothing more than to talk to her. I'm reading the book "Curveball - When Life Throws You A Brain Tumor" and it's bringing up a lot of feelings that I didn't realize I had. Today is the first day since the day before my surgery when they shaved the side of my head last year (11/10/11) that I can pull it all up into a ponytail, and only need a single barrette to hold the wisps in place. I am so incredibly happy over something so basic and silly - it's awesome. ♥ Happy Friday all.

OK, not sure what set it off, but I defintely had a fibro flare over the past week. It might have been the daily commute in and out of the heart of Boston. The hours and hours of "being on", talking to people non stop, and trying to get as much out of every session at this conference. Went to the doctors with Kelsey today - didn't realize the genetics department is part of OB/GYN (duh on my part) - we get there, it's so packed there's no where to sit - and everyone was staring - joked that they were just trying to figure out which one of us is pregnant ( Read more... )
