So, my cell phone fell out of my pocket last night and then stayed on the ground in front of my apartment for an hour and a half in the rain. I thought for sure it was dead but I tried that old "bowl of rice" trick AND IT ACTUALLY WORKED. You know the one... pop the battery out then cover both that and the phone in dry rice overnight. Oh, god. LIFE.

So. I got a sore throat, like, yesterday. And I wake up today, and HAVE NO VOICE. SERIOUSLY. I have to whisper, otherwise all that comes out is a croak. I sound ridiculous! It would be amusing if it wasn't me.
