Did anyone ever watch the Mystery Science Theater 3000 show? You know, the one where the guy and the two robots make fun of cheesy old B-movies?

So, my cell phone fell out of my pocket last night and then stayed on the ground in front of my apartment for an hour and a half in the rain. I thought for sure it was dead but I tried that old "bowl of rice" trick AND IT ACTUALLY WORKED. You know the one... pop the battery out then cover both that and the phone in dry rice overnight. It's been so long! I've been away at a friend's cottage for a week, sans computer or television. It was quite nice to get away from it for a while... not to say that I didn't turn my computer on immediately after returning.
