2007.12.30 - Fuel Filter Replacement
- Replaced fuel filter and the attached rubber hoses.
- Replaced air filter
It ended up being a son of a b*tch to get the new lines on the barbed ends of the hard lines. I have no idea why the fuel hoses gave me so much trouble, considering that they slid onto the filter barbs just fine, but for whatever reason they were incredibly tight in trying to fit over the hard lines. And it didn't help any that I was on my back underneath the car trying to work in a confined space. If the hoses appear to give me any trouble, then may consider relocating the fuel filter to the engine bay the next time I have to replace it.
