Greetings!
I'm putting my
ladychi mask on for this post, so pretend I'm her. *disguises voice*
We've got a final list of stories and authors that have been selected for the anthology, which will follow below. All the authors have been notified, story-polishing is happening, and now we're in need of illustrators.
Let me say that in a more eye-catching, noticeable way:
WE ARE IN NEED OF ILLUSTRATORS!
The anthology will feature black & white illustrations, and we're looking for some of you talented artists to take that on (yes, I'm also taking to you, photographers). Illustrators will be assigned a story to illustrate, and as long as you can create something that looks good in grey-scale, you're just what we're looking for. There are some further technical specs, but let's not put the cart before the horse.
For now, if you're interested in doing an illustration (or several) for the anthology, please email
ladychi at katherinejrhodes@gmail.com. If you have any questions, you can leave a comment here, or email her.
As for the anthology contents, barring any fiction-related disasters, here's what our table of contents is currently looking like:
1. Reading by Caro Kinkead
2. Dull Knives and Telephone Poles by Valerie Leesch
3. Good Night, Good Luck by Claudia Fabrizek
4. The Machine in the Back Room by Sharon Brown
5. The Worth of Wings by Ruth Frey
6. A Lost Fairytale by Jessa L'Rynn
7. All's Fair by K D Wentworth
8. Awash by Rachel Steffan
So, that's a total of eight stories we'll need illustrations for, and of course we wouldn't kick more than eight illustrators out of bed by any means.
That email address again is katherinejrhodes@gmail.com. We can't wait to hear from all the artists out there!
