Two things. They also have North American grizzlys in Canada. And it's autumn Please, for our sanity, it's autumn, not fall. I'll let the occasional lack of 'u's drop though.

((Delame just really feels like being a picky arse. And it is AUTUMN, dammit.))

North American, Professor Delame. North American. Not that I really care though, bears are terrifying.

Autumn, fall, to-may-to, to-mah-to. I suppose since I'm not in the good ol' US of A I'll have to comply with the word changes, but I will not add 'u's where they do not belong!

((Delame will soon find that he'll have a lot of things to be a picky arse about, as Colbear is basically a dick.))

That was my point. You were implying they were only American. Whereas North America, as your map shows comprises of the USA, Canada and two little French colonies.

True, but autumn's just a prettier word. Sounds better. You mean like in colour, favour, flavour...and will you be using 'z's where it quite clearly is an 's' too?

((good. hehehe.))

It's so hard to draw a straight circle around just America. Besides, it's Canada. You just have to assume Canada has bears. In fact there's more bears there than people. Only a complete idiot would assume bears turn and run away at the border of Canada (although they would if they were smart.)

Of course. You should have realized that. Colour is spelt color. Why do you need a 'u' in there?

Nice to meet you, professor. I'm Riley McGranahan. Unfortunately, I won't be in your class. I wish I was, though. It sounds like it'll be a lot of fun with you.

Pleasure Ms. McGranahan. What a mouthful.
Yes, what a shame. Fun is what I'm all about. And truth.

My full name is worse. My mum thought it would be funny to give me three middle names. Riley Anne Sophia Marie McGranahan.

Good, then you won't mind that I have a tendency to be brutally honest.

How cruel of your mother, though your initials will be impressive.

I won't mind, in fact I endorse it. Speak from the gut, I always say.

"Chip chip cheerio"? I'm pretty sure no one actually talks like that here. Anyway, nice to meet you. I'm sure classes will be...interesting.

Please tell me that malarkey is used or else my entire childhood was a LIE.

Please, an introduction would be nice. You can call me Professor Colbear, and your name is...?

I agree with that Nixon bit. Bloody scary, and seeing as America started off as one of Englands colonies I'm pretty sure they know where America is Steve.

You had better. You remember what happened last time now don't you? You're lucky they hired you with that on your record.

Joooooon, it's STEPHEN!

I don't know the English education system all that well, I was just making sure that these kids are well informed about the world. America has changed the last two hundred years, Jon.

I'll be good, I'll be good...

If it's not great and it's not grizzly, why is it called that?

It's Canadian propaganda, that's what it is!

Ah. Right. Care for Magical Creatures Professors only fall under two categories: the nutcase or the incompetent boob. Glad to see Dumbledore still values tradition.

You're not afraid to say what's on your mind, I like that. You've got balls.
